been slackin for a bit blogwise, but not work wise
actually haven’t been able to put in some pre picks because I haven’t been able to study charts the night before so I just go to the track in the morning and start from there.
Made a small profit at Del Mar and Hastings last week but could’ve made so much more had I made the right bets. I’ll illustrate this later.
Anyways Curlin races tomorrow so I’ll have to tape USC’s first game
cheers

I could only make it to the track on the Saturday and I came late because I was hungover as shit from playing rockband until 4am. Yes I know, no better way to spend a Friday night.
Made only two bets but they both hit:

R5: $5 Win $10 Place on Ginobili 30.50 + 31.00 RETURNED

R9: $20 on low odds favorite Zenyatta in the G2 Hirsch 32.00 RETURNED
I’m assuming she was named after the Police Album Zenyatta Mondatta. As for the other horse; Ginobili had actually loss me money before finishing 2nd about a dozen times. Kind of like how the Spurs failed to cover the spread on several occasions for me this year. Still he was the most consistent runner so the Place backup seemed logical.
Zenyatta is hands down the best horse I’ve seen this year. She is perfect with 7 wins in 7 races and would probably give Curlin and Big Brown a challenge. Others seem to agree.
Anyways I also did a pick 3 experiment this weekend on Hastings and Del Mar, but I’m keeping those separate from my regular betting totals.
Even though this was the biggest weekend at Hastings, I did not put on single dollar on any of the races and I didn’t even attend Cup Day. Kinda of like the same reason why I won’t watch Dark Knight. I am just so anti-anything that is popular.
That is why my life sucks right, but hey at least I’m doing okay at Del Mar.

long weekend here in BC, but I got lame plans on Sunday so I’ll only be able to ponybet on Saturday and Monday. So I’ll at least get to see Zenyatta race and see all the live stakes races at Hastings on BC Day
Anyways this weekend I plan on doing a pick 3 experiment at Del Mar and Hastings Park
Click on the photo below for Ron Cox’s Pick 3 strategy that earned him tons of cash

Here’s an excerpt
This was based on 139 Pic 3 in Nor-Cal and the payouts this was done in the early 90’s or late 80’s.
AAA 6X—$60
BBB 7X—$460
CCC 2X—$87
AAB 22X–$87
AAC 18X–$258
BBA 20X–$167
BBC 17X–$1,090
CCA 4X—$1,033
CCB 5X—$5,112
ABC 27X–$867
Conclusions AAA seldom occurs and pays nothing when it does
When two AA horses come in C comes in with them nearly as often as a B horse and pays 3x as much
Other Notes:
Races on BC day at Hastings also look pretty sweet. Big race is the BC Cup Classic which will feature Texas Wildcatter who raced in Kentucky against a couple Triple Crown Ponies. Very rare to see a horse like this in Van City. But you know what, who really cares, as a bet in low level claiming race and a bet on a big stakes race has the same impact on what I eat and whether or not I’ll be able to pay rent
Anyways hopefully I’ll get to a cpu in time for my pre-picks, in the meantime don’t forget to buy a Microsoft Zune this weekend or purchase My Horizontal Life or Stuff White People Like. If you don’t you hate babies and love war.
